What are the tech specs of a restroom trailer?
Our trailers come in 2-stall and 3-stall sizes, each stall with a porcelain flushing toilet. Every trailer has vanity sinks with running water, mirrors, lights and climate control. Trailers need a standard 110V/20A outlet or a generator (tell us if you supply one or want one quoted) plus a hose hookup or onboard tank. Level ground is a must.
| Spec | 2-stall trailer | 3-stall trailer |
|---|---|---|
| Toilets | Porcelain, flushing | Porcelain, flushing |
| Sinks | Vanity sinks with running water | Vanity sinks with running water |
| Inside | Mirrors, lights, climate control | Mirrors, lights, climate control |

Sizes and hookups vary by unit; we confirm the exact size and any power or water needs on your quote before you book. Measure your driveway or lawn path before the call.

What power does a restroom trailer need?
A standard 110V/20A outlet or a generator; tell us if you supply one or want one quoted. Power runs the lights, the climate control and the flush and water systems. Use a circuit that is not also feeding a band, a bounce house or catering gear, so the breaker holds.
- Home or venue outlet: tell us how far the outlet is from the trailer spot, so we know the cord length.
- No outlet nearby: plan on a generator. Tell us if you supply one or want one quoted.
- Outdoor outlets: check that the outlet works the day before.
How does a restroom trailer get water?
From 1 of 2 sources: a hose hookup or an onboard fresh water tank. With a hose, water flows to the toilets and vanity sinks for the whole event. With an onboard tank, the trailer runs on stored water, so long events or big crowds may need a refill visit, quoted before it is scheduled.

If you have a hose bib near the trailer spot, tell us the distance. If the site has no spigot, like an open field or a park, ask about the onboard tank option.
Waste stays in the trailer's holding tank and is pumped out at pickup or on a service visit.
Can a truck and restroom trailer reach my spot?
Yes, if there is room for a truck and trailer to pull in, park and back the trailer onto level ground. Before booking, check 3 things: gate or driveway width, low branches or wires overhead, and soft lawn after rain. We confirm the trailer's exact size on your quote.

Questions we ask on the call
- How wide is the gate or driveway the trailer must pass?
- Are there low branches, wires or eaves over the path or the spot?
- Is the ground level, and is the lawn dry and firm? Clay soil gets soft after rain.
- Is there a curb, ditch or steep driveway apron?
If a trailer cannot reach your spot, a VIP restroom cabin or the deluxe unit with a sink needs much less room.

Call (972) 812-6200Get quoteHow do restroom trailer setup and teardown work?
For a weekend event, we usually deliver the restroom trailer on Friday, sometimes Thursday, and pick it up Monday, 3 or 4 days later, at no extra cost. The driver levels the trailer, connects power and water, and checks the flush, sinks and lights. At pickup, the driver disconnects, pumps waste and tows the trailer out.
We never risk arriving during your event, which is why we deliver early. The driver calls 30–60 minutes before arriving.
Attendant service is not part of a standard trailer rental. If you want someone on site to restock during the event, ask on the call and we will tell you what we can do.
How many restroom trailers does my event need?
We size restroom trailers on the call using your guest count and event hours, not a one-line rule. The main factors are guests, hours, whether alcohol is served, and how many stalls you want open at once. Most events also add at least 1 wheelchair-accessible unit, since trailer stalls are up steps.
- Guest count: the base of every sizing.
- Hours: events longer than 4 hours need more capacity.
- Alcohol: a bar adds restroom trips.
- Mix of units: a trailer plus standard units handles big crowds for less.
- Access: add an accessible unit on firm, level ground.
Use our sizing calculator for the unit count, then call to match that count to trailer stalls.
How much does a restroom trailer rental cost?
In the calls we reviewed, callers were quoted about $1,500 to $3,600 per weekend for restroom trailers. Your itemized quote from us is the price you pay, and it shows the trailer, rental period, delivery, setup, pickup, any servicing, any rush charge and tax before you book.
In that study of 185 recorded calls, 8% of callers (14 of 172) asked about restroom trailers. The top complaint across all calls was an invoice higher than the quote, so every line is listed before you pay. More observed ranges are on our cost guide.
Restroom trailer, VIP cabin or deluxe unit: which is right?
A restroom trailer is right for formal events that need 2 or 3 stalls with climate control and have power, water and truck access. A VIP cabin gives 1 nice stall with no trailer. A deluxe unit gives a flush and sink with no hookups. The trailer has the most comfort and the biggest setup needs.
| Restroom trailer | VIP cabin | Deluxe unit | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stalls | 2 or 3 | 1 | 1 |
| Toilet | Porcelain, flushing | Porcelain, flushing | Plastic, foot-pump flush |
| Sink | Vanity sinks, running water | Vanity sink | Foot-pump sink |
| Climate control | Yes | Ask on quote | No |
| Power | 110V/20A or generator | Confirmed on quote | None |
| Water | Hose or onboard tank | Confirmed on quote | None (20-gal onboard tank) |
| Access | Truck + trailer | Truck to spot | Dolly, about 15 ft |
