Why should Mesquite customers book a day ahead?

Mesquite is about 20 to 24 miles from our yard at 6000 Split Trail Rd in east Plano, one of our longer runs. Trucks take US-75 south to I-635 east, or the Bush Turnpike east to I-30 west and I-635 south. Plan on 30 to 40 minutes, more at rush hour.

Same-day delivery to Mesquite is still possible Monday through Saturday when a truck and unit are free. Call before noon for the best odds. Any rush charge shows on the quote before you pay.

For weekend events, we drop Friday and pick up Monday. The driver calls 30 to 60 minutes ahead. Read how same-day orders work before you call with a rush order.

What do warehouse and plant crews need?

Mesquite sits where I-30, I-635, I-20 and US-80 meet, and its industrial parks hold many warehouses and distribution centers. Construction crews follow OSHA Table D-1: 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers, then 1 seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers. Plant fit-outs and expansions use the same table.

Operating plants and warehouses follow general industry rules in 29 CFR 1910.141. Construction work inside them follows the table below.

Workers on siteConstruction minimumSuggested sinks
151 toilet1 two-station sink
602 seats + 2 urinals1 two-station sink
1203 seats + 3 urinals2 two-station sinks

Our units for plants and warehouses include trailer-mounted units that move with the crew. For build sites, see our jobsite toilet guide.

How far ahead must I apply for a Mesquite event permit?

Mesquite asks for the Special Events and Parades Permit at least 45 days before the event, filed with the Building Inspection department. The city requires permits for most events with large crowds on public property. Call Building Inspection at 972-216-6212 with questions about your event.

Read the Mesquite special event permit page and the Mesquite special events permit guidelines. The guidelines tie some costs to expected attendance.

Neither page sets a restroom count. Ask the city what they expect, then size the order with our method. Public events need at least 1 wheelchair-accessible unit in each cluster under ADA 213.2. This is not legal advice.

Does rodeo season change bookings in Mesquite?

Yes. The Mesquite Championship Rodeo runs on summer weekends at the arena on Rodeo Drive, and those weekends get busy for us. If you host a private watch party, tailgate or ranch gathering, book by Wednesday. In 95-degree heat, add 1 mid-event service visit on long weekends.

We set units for private gatherings on land you control, such as a church lot, a business lot or a family ranch property.

  • Face the door away from afternoon sun.
  • Pick shade when possible.
  • For 100 guests over 6 hours with beer, plan 2 base units plus 1 plus 1, so 4 units, and 1 sink.

Can I get a porta potty during a plumbing repair?

Yes. Many Mesquite homes were built in the 1960s through the 1980s, so sewer line and slab repairs are common. One standard unit on the driveway covers the household. If the job runs past a week, a 28-day rental with weekly service usually costs less than back-to-back short rentals.

Pickup on a long rental is not automatic. Call or text when the plumber finishes, and billing stops that day. See our 28-day billing guide.

Many Mesquite homes have back alleys. The alley is usually public right-of-way, which may need city approval, so we set units on the rear drive or yard instead. After rain we set units on the driveway or gravel, not the lawn.

Questions renters ask about Mesquite

Is there an extra fee because Mesquite is farther from Plano?
Delivery and pickup are listed as their own lines on the quote. The amount is set before you pay, with no fuel surcharge added later.
Can you bring units to a warehouse during a shutdown?
Yes. Tell us the crew size and shift length. We size with OSHA Table D-1 and add extra service visits during double shifts, each quoted first.
Does a church fall festival in Mesquite need a permit?
If the event draws a large crowd onto public property, Mesquite likely requires one, filed 45 days ahead. On private church land, ask Building Inspection to be sure.
Can I park a porta potty on my Mesquite street for a quinceañera?
A street spot may need city approval. We set the unit on your driveway or yard by default. For 120 guests over 5 hours with drinks, plan 7 units.
How long can a unit stay at my house?
As long as you need. Long rentals bill every 28 days with weekly service, and you call or text when you want pickup.
Do you serve the Kaufman County side of Mesquite?
Yes. Mesquite spans Dallas and Kaufman counties, and we deliver to both. Allow extra drive time for far east addresses.
