How does delivery to Carrollton work from our Plano yard?
Carrollton sits about 20 to 25 miles west of our yard at 6000 Split Trail Rd in east Plano. Drivers usually take the President George Bush Turnpike west, a trip of about 30 to 45 minutes. Next business day is the normal plan. Same-day delivery is possible Mon–Sat when a truck and unit are free.

The driver calls 30 to 60 minutes before arriving. We can't promise an exact time, so mark the spot with a cone, flag or ribbon. You don't need to be home if the gate is open or you give us the code.
What helps the driver in Carrollton
- Tell us if your street is in a gated section or has a rear alley.
- Move cars off the driveway pad where the unit will sit.
- For weekend parties, book by Wednesday. We drop Friday and pick up Monday at no extra charge.

Call (972) 812-6200Get quoteCan the porta potty go in my backyard or by the alley?
A standard porta potty can go in a Carrollton backyard when the gate is at least 48 inches wide. The unit is 43.5 inches wide, and the driver rolls the unit about 15 feet from the truck on a dolly. Many older Carrollton homes load from a rear alley, which often makes the alley-side pad the easiest spot.
Measure your gate before you call. A 4-foot clear opening is the minimum. Under that, we set the unit on the driveway or side yard instead.
- Firm, level ground: concrete, gravel, packed dirt or dry grass all work.
- After rain: we set units on the driveway or gravel, not the lawn.
- Alleys: we place the unit on your property, not in the alley itself. City right-of-way can need approval.
Do Carrollton events need a city permit?
Carrollton issues special event permits through the Building Inspection Department. City code says to file the application at least 10 business days before the event. Plan around that 10-day window, because portable restroom counts and placement often come up during review. A private backyard party on your own lot usually does not need a permit.
Check the City of Carrollton special events permit page for the current form and fee. If your event is in a city park pavilion, ask Parks & Recreation about their own rental rules too.
Once you know your guest count, our sizing guide gives you a number to bring to the permit office. The city has the final say. This is not legal advice.
Renting during a remodel or sewer line repair?
A Carrollton remodel or sewer line repair usually needs one standard unit on a 28-day rental. Each 28-day cycle includes weekly service: pump-out, cleaning, and fresh toilet paper and sanitizer. The first cycle includes delivery, and later cycles cost less. Pickup is not automatic, so text or call when the bathroom works again.
Billing stops the day you ask for pickup. That keeps you from paying for a unit you no longer use.
- Set the unit near the back door, not on the street.
- Ask for a free hasp and padlock if crews come and go.
- Need extra service during a heavy week? We quote each extra visit first.
What do warehouse and shop crews need?
Carrollton has a large industrial base along I-35E and the Belt Line area. A build-out or renovation crew of 20 or fewer workers needs at least 1 toilet under OSHA Table D-1. Above 20 workers, plan 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers. Each standard unit in our construction fleet includes a urinal.
Building and renovation work falls under 29 CFR 1926.51. Day-to-day plant and warehouse operations fall under OSHA's general industry rule, 29 CFR 1910.141. Add handwashing when crews handle grease, chemicals or food.
| Crew size | Toilets (Table D-1) | Our usual setup |
|---|---|---|
| 1–20 workers | 1 | 1 standard unit, weekly service |
| 21–40 workers | 1 seat + 1 urinal | 1–2 standard units |
| 41–80 workers | 2 seats + 2 urinals | 2 standard units + 1 hand wash station |
For long builds with weekly service, see our jobsite toilet guide.
How many units for a backyard party?
Plan 1 standard unit for every 50 guests at a party of 4 hours or less. A 60-guest backyard birthday in Carrollton needs 2 units. Add 1 more unit per 100 guests when the party runs longer than 4 hours, and add another when you serve alcohol. Add 1 two-station sink for every 4 toilets.
| Party | Hours | Alcohol | Units |
|---|---|---|---|
| 40 guests | 3 | No | 1 |
| 60 guests | 4 | No | 2 |
| 90 guests | 6 | Yes | 4 + 1 hand wash station |
| 120 guests | 5 | Yes | 7 + 2 hand wash stations |

Call (972) 812-6200Get quoteWhat does the quote include?
Every Carrollton quote lists 7 items: the unit, the rental period, delivery, pickup, servicing, sales tax and any rush charge. We add no fuel surcharge after you book. Cancel or reschedule free until 7 PM the business day before delivery. After that, a trip fee may apply.
Same-day orders cancel free until the truck is dispatched. Churches, schools, government agencies and qualifying nonprofits with a valid Texas sales tax exemption certificate pay no sales tax. Send the certificate before you pay.
The price you approve is the price you pay. That answers the biggest complaint we heard in our 2026 review of 185 recorded calls: invoices that came in higher than the quote.
